The world needs dreamers and the world needs doers. But most of all, the world needs dreamers who do. That spirit is at the heart of Wilson Estate Vineyards, and it lives within our founder, Jerry Wilson.

Jerry is more than an entrepreneur. He is a businessman, a friend, a confidant, and an outstanding member of our Stockbridge community. In partnership with Sabrina, Jerry’s vision is about to become reality as we prepare for the grand opening of Wilson Estate Vineyards—a moment that will surely be remembered as a historical event for our town.

A Dream Rooted in Community

From the beginning, Jerry’s goals extended beyond cultivating vines. One of his very first missions with Wilson Estate Vineyards was to create opportunities for young adults in our rural area who often face challenges finding employment. It is a testament to his genuine, kind heart and his deep belief in people. His approach ensures that Wilson Estate Vineyards will not just be a place for wine, but a place where families, friends, and neighbors can gather to create lasting memories.

The Spark of a Dream

Long before the land became what it is today, Jerry looked at a grain silo with the letter “W” etched upon it and thought to himself, “Someday… I’ll call that my home.” At the time, it was just a vision, but one that was destined to grow roots. Today, standing in the vineyard, Jerry knows this moment was never meant to happen by chance. It is the result of hard work, dedication, positive manifestation, and—most importantly—having the right people by his side.

A Life of Entrepreneurship

Jerry’s story is also one of innovation and determination. Beyond the vineyard, he owns Nippa Sauna Stoves and Waters Edge Dock & Hoist in Howell, Michigan—ventures that reflect his passion for building meaningful businesses that serve people in unique ways. A family matter forced him into the decision of leaving high school early, to begin his journey of entrepreneurship. A true high school drop out, Jerry never let any stigma of traditional education hold him back from reaching his dreams. Wilson Estate Vineyards is his latest chapter, one that promises to bring beauty, connection, and community to Stockbridge and beyond.
