A Hopping Good Time at Our First Easter Egg Hunt

Thanks for visiting our vineyard, and reading our blog. This is the best place to stay in touch with up to date news regarding the vineyard.

Wilson Estate Vineyards welcomed families, friends, and plenty of excited little egg hunters for our very first Easter Egg Event—and what a day it turned out to be.

Despite a light spring rain, the energy never dipped. In fact, it made the day feel even more memorable as kids bundled up, grabbed their baskets, and took off across the grounds in search of hidden treasures. Rain or shine, the hunt was on—and nothing was stopping these determined egg seekers.

The afternoon kicked off with face painting at 1:00 PM, where kids transformed into everything from bunnies to butterflies. Shortly after, at 1:30 PM, a very special guest made an appearance—the Easter Bunny himself—spreading smiles and posing for photos with families. By the time 2:00 PM rolled around, the excitement had built to its peak as the egg hunt officially began.

We hid over 300 eggs throughout the property, giving every child a chance to join in on the fun. Among them were a few special golden eggs, which added an extra layer of excitement as kids raced to find them and claim their prizes. Within minutes, the vineyard was filled with laughter, running feet, and the joy of discovery.

The turnout exceeded our expectations, with an estimated 150–175 people joining us for the celebration. It wasn’t just the kids who had a great time—the parents seemed to enjoy the afternoon just as much, soaking in the atmosphere and watching their children experience the magic of the day.

Events like this are what Wilson Estate Vineyards is all about—bringing the community together, creating memorable experiences, and celebrating the seasons in a meaningful way. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came out and made our first Easter event such a success.

We’re already looking forward to making this an annual tradition.
